Blue tooth and t-5

Hi,
Has anyone been able to connect their blackberry to a Palm T-5 via blue tooth? I looked at the palm support and they aren't supporting any of the Blackberry models from what I can tell but just thought I'd ask.

May I ask why you want to do that.

Blackberry does not "allow" (for lack of a better word right now) many services over bluetooth. In fact, I believe that it only allows audio type gateways and connections over BT. Data gateways, like Dial Up Networking, are disabled over BT on RIM on devices (perhaps except the 8100, not sure)

Yes it works

If you have a web account with your Cell Phone provider, in additon to your phone account, it is no problem. I turn on my blackberry 8700g bluetooth and then use the Palm T-5 to log on to the web and get maps, weather, movie theater info etc. depending on where you find yourself, but it is closer to dial up speed. You do have to let the two devices discover each other before they can connect. Again depending on where you are, you can use the T-5 WiFi to scan around you and maybe log onto a Wireless connection nearby, for a faster connection to surf the web.
