What can i do with my BB 7100t?

Default What can i do with my BB 7100t?

I dont have a data plan (fido ) so i know that limits me right away. I've only had it for like 4 days and it came with no software- just a charger. I noticed when i used the USB cable and attached it to my computer, it recognized it for the first time as a blackberry device but I could find an icon in My computer that says blackberry- now it only charges when i USB to my computer.

How do i back up files? Put in files? Can i even put in files? Are there any freeware applications I can put on my Blackberry without a data plan? Was it supposed to come with software for my PC? Why aren't i studying for my exams?!

Yes I did use the search button first but did not want to sift through the topics.

Download the desktop software is the first to start from blackberry for the phones carrier...

My Blackberry never came with software, and I don't have desktop manager =(
Any suggestions for getting my blackberry "connected" to my computer? Like a download?

Everything is right there in the link that Raven gave you... it's at the very bottom of the page that say blackberry desktop software. Then just follow it through

BlackBerry 001 (not even 101).
First of all, please read the Sticky Thread FAQs in the General BB Discussion forum to learn a little but more about your BB.

Download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager from the RIM Support web site at https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22

Again, download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Install this program to your PC.

This program will allow you to sync your BB with Outlook (or another PIM) to bring over your notes, tasks, calendar and contacts. It will NOT sync your e-mail.

You can NOT move media over to the 7100 using Desktop Manager, as the 7100 does not support that.

Start here and see how far you get.
