Hey im a pure newb when it comes to the blackberry, my friend just gave me his bb 8700 its version is 4.1.0.284 and I just want to know what it is capable of. I wasnt really interested in them, but i got one and want to fiddle with it and do as much as i can. I was reading through this forum and came across a lot of interesting discussions like using it as a modem and all. I mainly want to put mp3s on it for ringtones and wondering if i can connect it to my computer to transfer them. Also if the memory is expandable or if it is set at 64mb. So pretty much wondering what they are capable of.

Thanks
Kyle

-memory non expandable

-mp3's you can't just hook up to the comp and transfer (only OS 4.2 is capable of that right now) here's a link that might help you out
