Question Opening Jpg's on 8703E

Please Login to Remove!

I've searched the posts and see a lot of questions but no answers. I cannot open any jpg's on my 8703E. I get an error that says unrecognized file format. My carrier is Sprint so I called their BB support but they didn't have any answers. Has anyone had this problem and solved it?

I am with Sprint also, and unless you have an addition program ie: Repligo, eOffice or something similar, you will not be able to view .jpgs sent directly to your device, via SMS or email.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3)

I also have sprint, and have never had this problem

Same here I have the 8703 from sprint. I resize the pics on my desktop, email it to myself then open the attachment click save give it a file name if I didnt on my desktop bam done. Only problem is I cant do more than one jpeg in an email at a time. If I do 2, 3,4 it wont work.

Good luck

You should be able to view the attachments in jpg formats.
I would check the app loader in Desktop Manager to make sure that attachment support was installed. You will have to download and instal the latest Sprint software first. Once you are in the app loader, make sure that attachment support is listed.
