Hi All,

I am new to Blackberry.I have BB 7100 with Cingular.I dont have a Data Plan.I want to check with you folks if I can synchronize my POP3 email using Desktop Manager.Without having any data plan, is there a way to get email to my BB.What are the other things I can do with this BB ? What kindof information can I synchronize with my desktop.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Anil

Welcome to BB Forums.

The only way to get e-mail to a BB is with a BlackBerry Data Plan. No way around that.

Without a BB data plan, using the Desktop Manager and Intellisync (included) you can get your contacts, calendar, notes and tasks synced over.

The plan is from your provider. I can't help with costs; sorry.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Like NJBB said you need the data plan. If you email, SMS, and surf even a little bit I would recommend the unlimited (prices vary according to provider). With VZW who I am with it is about $50 per month. Deff one of the most expensive but @ least it isn't the prices that are paid in Canada.
