Default How Can I move all contacts from the phone to the SIM card?

Please Login to Remove!

hello. I am planning to re-flash my phone today. When I just started using my bbry, I copied all contacts from to CIM card to it. Now, I would like to copy all contacts from the phone to the CIM card, so I can move those contacts back from the CIM card to the phone, once the phone is reflashed. I was not able to find such option. Thank you for your help in advance.

One more very important thing: how can I see available space left on my device, and how can I delete phone logs?

To move contacts from phone to sim card go into your address book, select the contact to move, then highlight the number you wish to associate with that contact. Then click the wheel and select "Copy to Sim Phone Book." You have to do it individually for each contact.

Space available on the phone: >Options >Status

Delete phone logs: Go to the Messages folder >click the wheel and select "view folder" >select phone call logs >highlight the date, click the wheel and select "delete prior."

Additionally, it is not necessary to move contacts to the sim card for updating the OS on the Blackberry. The Application Loader will make a backup of your device and restore the backup after the OS load is complete.

Hope this helps...

Or you can sync to a PIM on your PC (like Outlook) if you want yet another "backup". The SIM card isn't a good way to back up contacts as the SIM phone book can only contain a single phone number attached to a name (and no other data).
