Unhappy 7290 Frozen beyond belief

Please Login to Remove!

(Had posted this with the Mac users but realize now this might be a better place. Keep in mind that I can't reinstall anything as I'm a Mac user and have PocketMac for syncig but no Desktop Manager)

I've had my 7290 for two years, not too many problems. Last night, I was deleting an email when my screen froze. I tried to shut my BB off, but the off button wouldn't work. I didn't think much about it -- popped the battery out and back in -- no change. It still checks email and changes time. It will ring. Basically I just can't interact with it. No key touch will do anything. I popped out the SIM card. I synced it with PocketMac. I don't know what to do. Someone please help. Cingular's only suggestion is to upgrade to a new phone, ad I really don't have the money and like this one's keypad best. I'm already sort of lost without it.

Seems like a hardware failure but hard to tell without opening it up and checking for accumulation of dust and dislodged/broken parts in regards to the keypad.
