I had posted a message about my Blackberry freezing. This morning I got it to work again (don't ask me how) and was able to duplicate the problem by pressing the enter key to delete an email. After trying several other things, i determined that pressing the Enter key for any reason at all will freeze it. Thoughts? Can I live without ever touching Enter?

Is it possible your Enter key is sticking? And this is causing the appearance of a Freeze?

The sticking key could be the problem like Chinasaur posted or a bad keypad. You can try to open up your bb with a Torque bit size T-6 and take a look.

Well, that may have been it. I didn't consider that. It gradually "unfroze," allowing me to do more and more things until finally it was fully functional again. Weird and scary, to be sure. So glad to have it back though.
