Question 8705e with T-Mobile

Please Login to Remove!

I'm just wondering does anyone know about a new model on T-Mobile network 8705e. This model offers "Tethered Modem" which you can connect onto the internet with your laptop using your blackberry. Also, model is rated for Hearing Aids: M3 and T3

Has anyone heard about this?? if so, does anyone know when this will surface onto T-Mobile network.

The 8705g can tether to a laptop just like the other T-Mobile BB's. The only main difference between it and the 8700g is the Hearing Aid capability. I believe it is available via special order only through T-Mobile.

Default 8705g

I have had this for two months after I had the 8700g starting back in July. You have to request for it at a T-Mobile store. I use a digital hearing aid and the 8700g , at times, interfered my hearing aid with its clicking static-like noise when the device receives signals.

It wasnt easy to have Tmobile to switch the s. First, they wanted me to upgrade by plunking down $ 299 for the 8705g. I had to convince the regional manager to override the upgrade fee.

I finally got it without the fees. Now, my hearing aid no longer is interfered by the wireless signals.
