I apologize before I even start, because I know it is here someplace, but I cannot find where; so... can someone please help me in telling me how to reactivate my replacement 7130e? I have already gone in and requested the new service books and have not received them and I noticed that it says activation required on my new handheld.

Again...sorry for what a question that I am sure there is already an answer for, but I am becoming very frustrated with trying to get my replacement in right working order.

If it's a replacement, was it shipped to your home or office? If that's the case, did you call your provider to have them activate the phone on your account?

It came to my "home"...I was hoping I could do it without calling because you have to do that from a land line phone and I live in an rv without a land line. So I guess I will go tomorrow to a place I can access one. Oh well...joys of technology.

Yes, your provider needs to activate it in your account. You could also go into one of your provider's retail stores and activate it there.

Don't be afraid to ask a question, and at the same time, don't be afraid to search for your answer from previous discussions on the board. Often on common problems, you might find your answer, and faster than waiting for someone to answer it.

Unfortunately it happens. By the way, you don't have to use a landline specifically. You can use a neighbor's cell phone, too (if you're located at a campground or RV park or something like that). If you find someone with your provider, it would be a free call for them.
