I had an 8700c for about a year and I decided that it was time for a platform change...I got a Treo 750. Was It a Wise choice?

well ........ this is a BB forum but i think i can give you an unbiased opinion. i had the BB 8700c , 7290 , treo 650 , treo 700wx ....... and i must say i'm now 100% back to BB with my new BB 8703e ...... 100 % for life BB . the bells and whitles of other PDA's are very tempting but as far as a stable and productive device with a good head on its shoulders i cannot deal with anything else but a Blackerry ... tried the rest now back to the best .

What's important is if you believe it was wise. No one else has each and every one of your needs and preferences.

i so agree with you. i find it no matter what phone i get and how nice the other phone is i am still ending up back on my blackberry. i have the nokie 9290,9500,9300 and the treo and somehow between lunch and dinner my Sim car finds its way back in the blackberry 8700c i don't know how but somehow lol. blackberry are awesome they made a tool not a toy and because they started off as a tool for professionals and keep-et it that way they will always have people willing to pay for there service and there phones.

I think this belongs in the Handheld forum since you no longer own an 8700.

Luck with your new device.

I think this belongs in the Handheld forum since you're not really asking an 8700 question.

Luck with your new device.

That's up to you to answer. If I was in your place, I'd say no but my experiences and preferences aren't yours...

Do you really need 3rd party confirmation for your decisions? It seems like you should be able to best assess whether you're happy and it's meeting your needs better than a Blackberry.

Hamerad, why don't you repost in 30 days, personally from your experience, whether it was a wise choice or not?
