| Here's how I do it. I have my contacts in Outlook. Instead of entering the phone number in the blank field next to the label like "mobile" I click on the mobile button, or label itself. This opens a smaller window called "check phone number". Then enter the area code & phone number in their fields in that box. When you click OK Outlook will auto format it to appear like this:
+ 1 (454) 322 - 8510
This way you do not have to enter the 1 or any of the formatting. Outlook does it for you. Then perform a sync using the desktop software and your phone numbers will appear the same way in your BB address book.
Cheers. via 7130c
