Default Out of Memory?!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys.

My Blackberry 7290 has been operating REALLY SLOW lately and it just sucks... lots of lagging with the OS, opening emails, accessing menus. Today I couldn't do anything on my phone and I kept getting popups saying I was out of memory.

Any ideas and how to fix this and possibly make my BB work faster?

First thing to do is pop the battery out and in.
Second thing - do you have language supports and inputs for additional languages? They take up a lot of room.
Third - from the home screen, hold down the ALT key and type LGLG - this will get you to the system logs and you can clear them.

Remove them via Desktop Manager / Application Loader.

NJ-- can't the additional language modules be removed from the unit by going to options > advanced > applications and selecting delete there? At least, I was able to remove the foreign languages there.
