I have a new 7100i... Whenever I forward an email address the handset sends it from an account which I do not want it to send from...

I followed these instructions and even selected the correct address an no luck! Any suggestions?

On your BlackBerry, go to Settings --> Options --> Advanced Options --> Message Services. The default email service will be set on the first line. It will say Desktop for your BES connection (if you have one) or the email address used as the default if you have changed it or don't have BES. Hit the [Alt] key (bottom key in the left column) and select the email account you want to use as your default email address and save it.

This is for BIS 2.0. I don't remember how it worked under BIS 1.8, but I think it will say something like Internet Email, but you won't be able to choose a specific Internet Email account - just between BES and BIS.

I am using BIS, try go to Messages -->Options -->Email Reconciliation under Message Services, set it there. Give that a try...
