Default Message light doesn't stay red?

Please Login to Remove!

hi guys,

for some reason on my BB the message indicator will turn red when i get email, but if i don't touch the BB for a few minutes it turns back to green even though i still have unread messages.

It used to stay red all the time, but i'm not sure what i changed

Any ideas?

My bb does the same thing. After a while it goes back to green. I'm not sure why. I have a 7130e with Verizon. Not sure if it's a Carrier or os issue.

The led will only indicate red for I beleive 15 minutes or 10 minutes. Then goes back to green. Found this in the user manual.

That's good to know. When I get up in the morning I usually have emails but the light is always green.

You BB NEVER used to stay red all the time after a new message arrived. After 15-20 minutes it goes back to green. This is the way it is!

No - Greg is correct; it never stayed red.. It shut off after some time frame (15-20 minutes sounds about right to me).

John is right. If you want to change your LED to do a lot more than the standard BB, then you can use Blackberry Alerts. I use it and really like it. You can seperate all your differnet types of messages into many different colors and blink like a SOB for ever and ever.
