Default Corporate BES? how to?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I'm an IT from a small 5 locations company which start using BB as a communication tool on different levels. I'm new to this BB even if I have a BB 7100t since 3 years ago, but now that my boss wants to take advantage of this amazing phone I'm considering know more about the Corporate BES server.
This is new for me, and my questions are:
What is the advantage of getting a Corporate BES?
Is this a server that you just put on your site and make it works with your current email or so?
Is there any cost for license on this software if so how they pay for it? mean by license or by seat(BB) or by drop(connection)?

We currently use the BB sync to our corporate email and works good, but we have to pay for each BB to sync with our corporate email. Whit this server we can do that with out pay any extra fee for sync email?

Thanks
