Talking Best OS for 8700??

I have been using the cingular 4.1.0.377 Platform 2.0.0.152 for a little while now on my 8700g with Tmo, just wanted to see what OS is everyone else using and any pros and cons with their OS

.377 has been very stable, very good on battery life and the volume is excelent. all the icon notifications are there and over all it's pretty good I must say

really?? wasn't aware of that....is there any way to check that??

Go to Options > 2007 DST Patch. I am assuming that it shows up this way. That is how it will display for patched devices.

I'm stuck on 4.1.0.351 because if I try any update on my 8700 past release 518 I get an error when restoring my backed up messages and contacts. NO GOOD! I hope there's some kind of a fix out there, I'd really like to upgrade and tinker.
