That's a bit odd..... Have you tired a hard reboot (pull battery for 30 sec)?

If so

Try resending your service books....

I am experiencing similar problems. I use a pop account at the office. During the past week I have been unable to forward, then all e-mails started going ot my 8700 without leaving a copy on my office server. When i try to forward from my blackberry they go through my pop again without leaving a copy on the server and show up as new on my blackberry. I have tried what lunkhead suggested several times with no success.

Is the email STILL in the inbox on the main PC? Unable to forward is usually when the email has been moved or deleted from the server.... Are you on BES or BIS?

This is very strange. Forwarding is nothing more than an email being sent.
I looked and cannot find any options that would limit forwarding.

Do you get any indication on the BB that the message has failed? Or is it just that they dont arrive at the receiver. Can you send and forward ok at work?

LunkHead, I wonder if his forwarding email is being tagged by his companys BB servers and thought to be spam from outside their network. Some companys delete spam thought to be external. Maybe his send address is wrong in the servers.

A peer system (aka an LAN) or intranet would be apart of that peer system. You need enterprise for Lotus if that is your Domain. BIS is a straight web browser solution that is not network compatable.

If he only has BIS, he will not go straight network unless he's in the web browser and logged in. BES for Lotus Notes (Enterprise Server Soultions for Lotus Notes). BIS is simply not enough.

I tested sending myself a message at work. It came through. Now that the e-mail connection has been removed from my blackberry, I am getting messages again in my Yahoo acount. Does this mean that perhaps the e-mail account was not set up right with blackberry. The sprint folks keep telling me to check the box on my office computer to leave a copy on the server. My IT helper says no. It all worked fine until one day my phone said welcome to Verizon Wireless and I am with sprint.

Lightbulb Enterprise

Your inbox is funny because verison wireless is the push content format of the server. You need to upgrade NOW!!!!! Tell your IT dude your going to BES for Lotus Notes v4.2, after that, it should work.

Sry for the delayed response, but here is the deal....I tried to hard reboot...and...still the same situation...i can receive my emails fine with no problems, send emails with no problems as well . But the problem is that I can't forward email, which is weird. When I forward email via my BB to myself, all i get is the red x icon and thats it. The service provider that I have with my BB is t-mobile and I've talk to them but their confused too. They said from their side they say the account seems fine and it maybe from the lotus notes server. Sry but I'm a noob at this...and I'm lost....

Default t-mobile

Okay, then I'm with you because I too have T-Mobile. Now even with the hard reset, your platform is still BIS with the MDS add-on, right?
Oh, by the way, don't go to t-zones to set up your corprate e-mail, instead get on my.t-mobile.com and set up your corp. E-mail through the communication tab on the site after logging in. Now, if you have IT, ask for server permission to log in to the server domain. I had the same issue when I called t-mobile and they told me that unless I upgrade to an addtional 19.95 service fee for BES and download the Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange, I can't activate my Enterprise Account until then. So, if you did download the BES for lotus and register, then go to Enterprise Activation, put in the required info and go from their. But don't use your BB email as a link to Lotus.

i am experiencing similar problem on my 8700g (v4.1.0.377 and Platform 2.0.0.152)

i am currently using BIS and connects to my corporate email via OWA (company won't add me to BES).

whenever i try to forward an email with attachment(s) or reply to a long email thread, it won't send. instead i get a red X with the error "message included an invalid address".

i found a workaround for the replying long email thread which is to "Delete Original Text" before sending and it works.

Anyone with same issue?

BREAKING NEWS: BlackBerry Network Down
April 17th, 2007 (by Blackberry Cool)

Big, big news, folks. It seems as though, since 8pm EST last night, the BlackBerry infrastructure has suffered a massive failure and has yet to come back up. This is apparently affecting the entire Western Hemisphere.

Right now, it seems as though BIS users are not affected, but most if not all BES servers are down. Certain BlackBerry Cool staffers had noticed something wonky happening with web browsing using the BlackBerry Browser earlier, but thought it was a simple matter of device failure.

Update: WNBC is reporting that…

Officials with RIM said they are trying to reset the system and told NewsChannel4 that they are concerned that the backlog of data, which will rush through when it comes back on line, could cause a bigger problem.

When the error is corrected, RIM officials said a message would be sent in stages so the system does not crash.

Obviously this is a major problem that will not only hurt RIM, but possibly US and Canadian governments, who rely heavily upon their BlackBerrys. BBCool will stay with this late breaking news through the evening and let you know what develops.
