| I don't think so. It is actually a little longer than the 8700.
The 8800 should def come with a holster.
RIM blew it on that!

| Meh. I've never had a problem with any of the plastic holsters (back to the 6230). YMMV, of course. | | Offline

Would you rather the price of the phone increase so they include a nice leather holster? | | Offline

| Id rather they keep the price the same and add a liscensed version of the seidio holster myself. Lets not pretend that and of these clips or even 'oem leather cases' cost more then a dollar or so wholesale. | | Offline

i have to agree i like the plastic holder, much easier to pull the BB out compared to the RIM leather holster that came with my 7290... for the 8700 i use the plastic one and it just as easy to use compared to my 7290 plastic.. only downside is that there are 2 areas on the edges that seem to rub against every time the bb goes in and out and the wear is shown....
also with the quick Notes program installed, it seems like sometimes when i pulled the bb out of the holster it would rub the "Q" letter on the bb sending it to the quicknotes program.. it was annoying so i deleted the quicknotes and it solved that problem... | | Offline

| Well, if it includes SOMETHING, thats better than nothing at all..
How many of us, if we use the pearl, have not bought a skin, case, or holster?

To each his own, just would like to have that accessory ready to go when I buy but from the past, I doubt that will happen! | | Offline

I won't go back to plastic. Two BBs destroyed after popping out of plastic holsters, never dropped one yet from the leather one. | | Offline
