Default GPRS Int'l roaming- BB7290

Please Login to Remove!
I am a Brazilian (Claro) user. My operator hits me very hard with international roaming charges when out of Brazil. Is there a way to turn-off my GPRS function on my 7290 and mantain only my GSM ability?

If you have a newer version of the handheld OS, you can go into Options / Network and set "Data Services" to Off.

All you will have left is voice and SMS text.

Thnks for your quick reply.I am running the v 4.1.0.292 and the option you mentionned is not available to me.. How to I get the new OS for the 7290?
