I'm telling you the 650 is the way to go. I just got mine 2 weeks ago. AMAZING. I've owned 3 other bluetooth headsets. This one is INSANE comfortable, loud, pairs with multiple devices. I've thought about doing a full review on it.

I'd be interested in seeing 665 reviews also, since this device has bi-directional dsp.

I've used my 665 for a couple of days, it's great. Looks like Plantronics got it right, finally. The noise filtering is pretty good. Battery life seems better than rated. I will be traveling next week so will get a better chance to test that feature. There's no delay in the connection that I can tell. Atleast the delay is no more than my 650.

I purchased my unit off ebay for $70. It came with the 655, charging unit, usb charger, auto charger, 3 diff ear pieces, ear clip and user's manual. It did not come with all the various charging adapters as the 645, an AC charger or the battery charging unit. Since I had a later version 645 with the various adapters, etc it was not a problem, they all fit the 665 charging unit.

Still doing good with my HS-655. Delay is significantly less than with my AX-2. Can always use another though! Kind of like glasses, you can never have too many. I always like to plan for any inevidability.

I have had excellent luck with the Discovery 645 and most of my co-workers have other Plantronics products and absolutely love them. There's no reason why this on won't be great as well.

After a week, I love the 665. Good volume on both ends, good noise filtering, better than the 645 I had. If I had a knock, it would be battery life. Mine lives up to the 3.5 hrs of talk time, but it's not enough for the amt of talking I do while traveling. I keep it in the charging unit attached to the AAA battery charger in my pocket when not in use and I have plenty of charge all day.

I highly recommend this unit.

I just purchased a Plantronics Discovery 665 Bluetooth Headset from Buy.com for $67.88 delivered, hope it lives up to the hype!
