Is there a way to attach pics when sending emails from the 7100i?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Not attached to email, however one can attach a picture in your picture viewer, by opening the picture, and then clicking ond Send as MMS or or send to Messenger Contact (if you have BB Messenger loaded).

BB Messenger is for messengering with other BB users, primarily. It uses Rim's PIN network, is pretty quick and good for those that have BBs.

It would be great if the 7100 series could send attachments. I think the pearl is the only one that can do that.

I have the Pearl and though it gives me the option to send attachments, it doesn't work. I can't originate a message on my Pearl with an attachment - it fails. I can receive and forward email with an attachment just fine though. I can also originate an email without an attachment from the Pearl.

With the 7100 I believe you can send a picture using BBMessenger.

rizenbone,
what email service are you using? I can send picture attachments with Gmail and, now that my IS dept upgraded the BES, I can now send them from my BES mail account too. I've always been able to send them from GMail, though.
