I do bookwork for a client that just got the BB8700.

Please, can you let me know how we need to set things up so he can upload his info to a server (?) and I can go in and retrieve it. OR, will I always have to physically plug and download from his BB?? I have the desktop software loaded on my computer.

What info are you wanting to "upload?" You can sync the calendar, contacts, etc. using the Desktop Software. You can sync them to Outlook or most other PIM desktop applications.

Wireless sync requires a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) which most large corporations use. You can subscribe to a service for around $20 per month that will host you on their BES if you require this feature.
