Default Help! Instant Messenger Help and Volume Control

I just purchased the 8700 blackberry from t-mobile. Can I be on both aol instant messenger and msn instant messenger at the same time? I have my phone set to quiet but it still rings (loudly I might add) when I receive an instant message via aol or msn. Is there anyway to change that?

Can I read/compose blackberry emails online?

The volume for your instant messaging program is in profiles. You have to change the volume on each profile. If you edit a certain profile you will see properties for New IM - AIM and all of the other clients.

Online? On your blackberry yes. On a web interface on your desktop, probably not, according to the version of Blackberry Internet Service. The likely answer is no.
