Default 8700 Plastic holster

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking for a holster clip for the 8700 similar to the 7230 and 7290 that the BB could be sortof slid out of the clip. I have seen several that look as if that is the case but not certain. anyone know if there are some like this? would also like it if the BB was face in instead of out.

The Plastic Swivel Holster is what you are looking for. The holster is the same for all 8700 variants.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700c: HTC-8500/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

Actually, the OEM plastic holster is NOT compatible with the entire 8700 line. I had an 8700c that it worked fine with, but when I put the 8707v housing, it wouldn't fit in the plastic holster. The bottom hof the housing was wider than that of the 8700c. I ended up buying the leather holster since it wouldn't fit.

It may be compatible with what he will be getting. I was just letting everyone know that it's NOT compatible with ALL models. Notice the 8707v isn't listed.

I think it's normal for tthe newer ones. I ended up using an older 8700c with my new 8700c because I couldn't stand the newer plastic holster. I guess lots of people complained about their 87xx's slipping out...

Are you puTting your BB in backwards? Screen should be inward, covered by the holster. Don't be insulted, it's happened to a lot of us and just want to be sure.

my only gripe with the 8700 plastic holster is if you have "quick notes" installed it seems like the "Q" sometimes hits the holster so when i pulled my bb out the holster it would always be in that programs and i had to go back to the home screen... i just ended up deleting it.. but now when i make phone calls and i put it in the holster it hits the "Q" key and i hear a beep but its not as annoying
