Does anyone know how much the BlackBerry 8800 will be with a one-year contract (including rebates, if any)?

You asked this in a previous thread..... You might check that one... The mod's will get upset for double posting

Back on your topic..... Are you on Cingular or T-Mo?

T-Mo give a pretty good discount if your eligible for upgrade and do 2 years.... If you only do a year the price is not all that great... Not sure about Cingular policy on upgrades.....

I'm on Cingular and love their service, so I do not want to change carriers. Honestly, I would pay full price for this phone because I have been waiting for a QWERTY BlackBerry for so long (I've had the 8700c since day one).

I can't say for Cingular.... But I know the T-Mo price(s) on a 1-year is NOT all that great... I know what you mean though, I've had the 7290 and 8700 and LOVE the qwerty.... I am currently using the 8100 but it's going hasta-la-vesta when the 8800 hits T-Mo....

I had the 7290 (my first Blackberry) as well as the 8700c and send many e-mails and text messages every day. My friend keeps trying to get me to use the Pearl, but I know SureType is not for me. Long live the QWERTY!

Not sure if it will apply to the 8800, but I was recently told that a Pearl would cost me $75.00 more on a 1 year extension vs. 2 year extension at a cingular company store.

Hmmm. I would guess that would be pretty standard. I guess I will be forking over $400 after all.
