Ive recently replaced my (stolen) Car Stereo
w/ a Pioneer DEH-P980BT cd player.

The pioneer is bluetooth compatable & i have
registered it w/ my 8700(g)...Ive made & recv'd
phone calls (kinda cool, it mutes the car audio/music
and turns the entire car audio system in to a
speaker phone).

The devices (pioneer DEH-P980BT & the 8700g)
are paired...and working (at least in a basic function/manner)

Im trying to transfer the 8700g's phone book &
cant (possibly user error?) which is why im here <again>
asking for your help & knowledge.

Has anyone successfully transfered the phone book from
and 8700 to ANY device ? does anyone else have a pioneer
bluetooth car audio device ? is it working ? have you transfered
the phone book ?

I have the DEH55BT and have done this with the Pearl.

Does the 8700 support OBEX?

To Transfer the Address Book from my Pearl, I had to go into the Bluetooth Options, select the Pioneer BT Unit and select transfer address book, when the Pioneer was set to receive the address book. However I couldn't do this with my 7100 because that didn't suport OBEX
