Default message notifying thing...

I don't like to set up sound or vibration when i get messages: text, e-mail, IMs.
Whenever i got messages, the red light in the corner would flash til I either read it, or erase it. However, it no longer does that (just green lights all the time). Any reason why? how can i change the settings?

Options > screen/keyboard > scroll to bottom, make sure LED coverage indicator is ON.

After new messages, the LED will blink red only 10-15 mins, then return to green.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Then check your profiles and confirm that REPEAT NOTIFICATION is set to LED FLASHING, and make sure that is the active profile.

Do a battery pull and reboot your phone.

Otherwise, I don't know.

What JS said but it will still quit after so many minutes. There is a 3rd party software you can get that will make it do red blinking until read.

The red notification LED quits flashing after about 15-20 minutes.
