| 8800's In Stores (confirmed) Please Login to Remove! That is right. I have been telling my Cingular rep - much to his consternation and unbelief, that he will have the 8800's by the 21st. Sure enough, he pinned me tonight and said they got their shipment in today about 4:00pmCST and he was holding one for me. HOWEVER, the rebates don't begin until Feb. 28th so if I get it tomorrow, I won't get the $50 rebate. Who cares, I am picking it up in the morning! | | Offline

| The times my Cingular store got them early they could not ring them up as they were not put in the system until the day they are surposed to be sold. We shall see if they can sell, let us all know!
I have seen many new phones launched and there is always one way to tell without a doubt if they are really out. The only TRUE BENCHMARK is picture of the new 8800 Cingular WITH the Cingular box on ebay. This is the benchmarlk I have used in the past and it is 100%.
The are still ZERO images of the Cingular 8800 box on eBay!

| Greg, you are correct regarding not being in the system. My "guy" at the Cingular store, as he was talking to me on the phone, tried to scan the unit and no price appeared so he spoke with someone else in the store who confirmed the price (499) and said he could key it in whenever I came into the store. It wasn't in the system yet but he said he could still sell it to me. We'll see. Like you, I will beleive it when I see it. One hour, I will be there. | | Offline
