507 error is no problem. Nothing backed up is the only problem....sorry. 507 means no OS on your device.

This should fix you up. Just pick up the instructions after "wiping the device as your device is wiped.

Wait, nothing backed up....I thought you got it locked with a password that you didn't set? Why would not being backed up be a problem?

Where did you get it again?????? Something doesnt sound right.

Hi there,

Just been reading the post and you say pick up the instruction after "wiping the device as your device is wiped. However, I cannot find that in your instructions. What step would I start on if the device is already wiped and needs the OS re-installed on it?

If you already have a 507 error then do the following:

Install Desktop Manager.
Download AND install OS package to your PC
Locate and delete "vendor.xml" from your PC
Plug in BB, open Desktop Manager. Go to connections in the menu at the top and select USB. Then open application loader and the OS should install.
