I bought my BB from a Private Seller . I t came w/o any software & just a GETTING STARTED Guide. No in depth manual. I was able to go to BB website & download the BB Desktop Manager. The Manual on their site seems outdated.I wanted to change the Theme & Background of my BB.

I was trying to figure out how do I remove the previous owners email address that are still on the phone ?

Forgot to mention that I have a 8700c which is Cingular .

First, You need to confirm with the seller or Cingular that the previos owner has released the PIN # and on the device.

Then go to options, advanced, applications, service books and delete the service book(s) related to their email--it will be obvious which ones by the old email address.

Reboot the phone by pulling the battery for 30 seconds and then go back to the same place and confirm they are gone.

Buy your BB Data plan and tgen setup your mail service.

I forgot.........

How do I change the THEME ? I want to go back to the icons I had before. Now I can't remember how to go & change it.

Also when I try to change something in OPTIONS, it always takes me to ADVANCED OPTIONS & I don't know how to go to just regular options >

Anybody know what I can do to go back to regular options ? I think in regular options is where I can change THEMES.
