Default GPS-BBmaps Application Removal Question

Hey guys,
I got an 8800 today w/cingular and am loving it! I installed the bbmaps app from the thread with the link knology.net/~acidmax/blackberry/maps.jad. i have decided that It wasn't fully what I wanted so I went to the advanced options and deleted it from the application option. But the icon is still there and it still runs on the blackberry when I select it, but when I go to the application options tab it is not there anymore. It used to be called LBS, but it is not there anymore and the icon and program stll seem to be on the device! Anyone having similar issues or have an idea? All help is appreciated!

Why wasn't the bbmaps app fully what you wanted?

thanks for the quick reply. I checked out your webpage,it is great.I couldnt find however any infor on removing the application, am i looking in the right section? I just went to the gps link on the page?

Been working on this am, so maybe you had an issue with it. Check on the bottom of the BBMaps section.

Definitely there now.
