Default question about Blackberry w/ nextel

Please Login to Remove!

I'm brand new to this website, so I'm sorry if I'm asking questions that have already been answered. My family has service with Nextel, I understand that only 7100i and 7520 are compatible. I'm looking to get one or both of these models...used. If i do get them used, I know I need to make sure it comes with a sim card. Then do I just take it to my local Nextel/Sprint store with my old sim cards, and they can switch the info ? Is that all ? Do i need to contact Nextel itself and tell them of my switch ? will i get charged a fee ?

Also, does anyone know if I can access Juno mail ( i know, who has juno anymore ) through either one of these blackberrys ?

any opinions on which one is more user friendly would help too.

Thanks !

Welcome to the BlackBerry world. I'm no expert but here's my feelings on this.
I'm pretty sure you can just go into a Nextel store and have them activate the BB. One thing you have to make sure of when you buy a used BB is if it was on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). If it was you may not be able to use it or use some of the features until it's released from the BES.

I remember Juno. You will have to see if Juno allows for POP mail access then you can set up your BB to check that POP address. If not then you might be able to use web mail if Juno supports that.
