I picked up a 8800 today. I installed some Magmic games using the 8700 install and they seem to work fine. Anyone have any issues? Didnt play much. More just a quick test.

Realdice games did not fare as well.

Also, Newsclip seems to work without a hitch as well as Google Maps. The GPS seems to work great.

Has anyone found or tried Yahoo Messenger for the 8800? Any issues? Handmark Pocket Express? Splash Photo or ID with Desktop sync? Yahoo go 2.0?

Just thought I would see if anyone has tried or experienced anything before I install them. Thanks in advance.

I am torn. I love my 8700 with Tmobile and cannot decide whether to keep the 8800 using Cingular or unlock it and use on Tmobile and let Cingular just charge me the additional $175 for not returning if I cancel service.

FYI, Magmic is releasing 8800 specific versions of their games on Friday. The only one I found that wouldn't work at all was Mahjongg Solitaire, but the others will benefit from the improved handling of the trackball, if nothing else.

Does anyone know revised release dates? I was surfing the Magmic site yesterday and they indicated no 8800 specific releases yet.

No nothing new. Backgammon is the only game I own that has been updated so far.

Both Pocket Express and Yahoo messenger work on my 8800.
