Please Login to Remove!

Another crap refurb maybe?

This phone displays "data connection refused" prob 1/2 dozen times a day while at my house (1-3 bars).

I've NEVER had this issue before. You think its a bad phone?

I'm sooo sick of these crap refurbs

It sounds like your data plan is not provisioned properly. Have you popped the battery and sim card out and back in? If you've already tried that, then I would give your carrier a call.

Some of the times I'm not even connected to EDGE at all. It will say GSM or edge, in which case both don't let me get email/browse the internet

In order to be able to transfer data you need GPRS or EDGE, if either of those are lowercase you will not receive data coverage, but mine doesn't say 'Data Connection Refused.'

Contact your service provider because it might just be it wasn't activated correctly.
