Please Login to Remove!

after getting a new BB what would be the first thing(s) you added to it and did on it other than get ringtones, games, and transfer contact info.

im not sure what type desktop software(version) i am using, what would be the best for me to have?

is there any hope for me to ever learn the abbreviations on here?lol

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Welcome! We all have to start somewhere. After ringtones u can choose a theme that suits u. Some great 3rd party apps I use quite a bit are googlemaps, berry411 and berryone. Try them out.

Reverse lookup is handy to have. You highlight a phone number and select reverse lookup and it will come back with the person's name and address. It doesn't work for cell phone numbers though.

I find MapQuest Navigator to be a better GPS navigator than TeleNav. They both have free trials so you can try them out.

Install BB Maps if your phone doesn't already have it. It's free and works good for directions or see where you are at. It works with the built in GPS.

MS Outlook syncs very cleanly with your BB. There are others.

It'd be wise to read through the Aftermarket Software forum on here, scroll down on the main screen to find. Lots of info.
