Hi all,

I was testing out attachments today with the 8800, and couldn't figure out a way to save a copy of the original JPG attachment from an email to my device. For instance, I sent myself a 176kb JPG, but when I view it on the 8800 and then save it, I end up with a 14kb file (basically the dumbed-down version it shows as a preview in the email viewer). This occurs even if I do the "Show full image" option before the save.

Can anyone explain to me how to save a copy of the original file to my BB when I have an email open? I can't figure out if this is a bug, a shortcoming of the device, or a shortcoming of my brain.

You are not at fault-- I've tried and test this a hundred different ways and only get the low res version as well.

If there is a work around on this I'd like to know as well.
