OS 4.2.1 will be out soon for the Pearl and 8700. Per BGR, there was a reference to it in the Vendor.xml file for the 8800 software. I would say by the end of March for both devices.

I was told that too by a software vendor. He said that is giving more issues than the 8800 OS.

i have been running 4.2 beta for 3 months or so...very stable......media player is useless except for tiny tube videos, but sure am glad for picture calling, being able to attach files and pics to emails, and voice notes. pretty happy right now , think ill wait for wifi and camerea from tmo..........................(8820)..besides gps and sd storage my 87oog has all that the 8800 has.
