Default Fun lights for 8800 trackball like on 8100???

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know how to activate the funlights for the trackball when the phone rings? On my pearl it would change to different colors when the phone rang--

I think RIM removed them. At least I don't see the option for it in phone options anymore. :(

Hey! This is a serious business tool. There's no time for cool flashing lights.

Just kidding! I wish there were there too. They'd go well with my Spiderman wallpaper.

I wonder if RIM will remove this on the yet to be released 4.2.1 OS for the Pearl? I'm hoping that they just feel the 8800 is more of a business user device and the Pearl is a *fun* consumer device and leave it there. Bummer the 8800 didn't get it.

Default Flashing Tackball Lights???

Come on that should be a T-Mobile Exclusive. You guys sound like you want the 8800 to be a Business Type Sidekick.... LOL.....

Although it would be really cool in a way......

Well you can color in your LED's like someone did with their Pearl and if I can post the link I will when find it. They removed the trackball and colored in the LEDs with a sharpie and it was pretty cool.

That is an alternative to the flashing lights, which was very cool.
