Default 8700c - how to jump back to top of e-mail/vm display...

Please Login to Remove!

Help! I am out of my mind, frustrated!!

I have spent the last two hours on the phone and internet, trying to get a simple question answered. I have an 8700C

Question:

Not sure why, but when I ‘holster’ my phone, frequently it will beep and when I check screen, it has jumped all the way down to the oldest e-mail/voice mail in my display.

Is there a way to ‘jump’ quickly back to the most recent e-mail/voice mail display? I am aware of ‘Alt and scroll’ option but even that is tedious – (scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll…)

Several of our other company reps have told me they have the same problem (occurring frequently) when they ‘holster’ their 8700c’s

Yep, your question posted.

From the message screen, press "t", back to top. Press "b", to bottom of list.

You/they might try flipping the phone the opposite way in your holster (according to the holster you use), it could work... or make sure you are back to the home screen when you holster.

And Welcome.

Stinsonddog,

Did you try replying to my question earlier? It looks as though you sent a reply but there is no message to retrieve.

You're probably hitting the B key when holstering. Just be careful when holstering the BB. I don't even think about it and I never hit any keys while holstering.
