Default Browser Locked Up

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All:
The 8800 is my first-ever BlackBerry device (been counting down the days until its introduction). I am working hard to learn and master its functionality, but unfortunately, after exploring several websites last night, it began locking up. Now, I click on the browser and everything locks up. Other functionality seems to be OK.

Any suggestions???

Thanks.
MIKE

Don't know if this is same thing or not, but I've had trouble when viewing some concentional web sites. I used to get error messages when site was too large, but I don't seem to get those any more. I've had the pages seem to stop loading and the BB is slow with everything. Turning the BB off and back on resolves it. I've assumed it is a combination of things like size of page, embedded flash/video, java scripts...

I've tuned it on + off several times, and doesnt appear to help. I just read in one of the Pearl forums that I may have to take out and reinstall the battery. Think that may be the answer???

Anyone had more issues with above problem or similar?

I've found for the past two nights that my BB won't register on the BB network. It will work fine all day and then stop at night. Tried sending service books, even that fails. EDGE network shows up, so it's not like it can't find the network. So, no internet, no email, no maps, etc., but the phone works. The ONLY thing that works is pulling out the battery to restart, and then it works just fine. I hate to call Cingular about it because they usually don't know their asses from their elbows when it comes to anything more complex than a RAZR.

Any suggestions???
