Okay - as far as I can tell, the voice dialing has no "training" feature - it simply analyzes the address book and interprets your command the best it can. Is this really it? I have tried to get it to work with a particular phone number / name combination and it won't do it. What am I missing?

thats all you have to do mine works perfectly.

You can adjust the voice recog. sensitivity. I adjusted mine up to +2 and it works 95% of the time. It is very important that you say the name as it is in the phone book.

If you can not get yours to work, get your unit replaced as most people find they work very well. It is one the top features that I wanted the 8800 for as it work perfectly with my Blackberry BT headset, allowing me to do voice dialing while driving without even touching my 8800. It si so nice!

mine works great, except when there is a lot of background noise, then it misinterprets what i am saying. when i use my bluetooth headset it works much better it seems with background noise.
