Please Login to Remove!

Dont know if someone mentioned this, but if you hold down the green (call) button you get a -

Call:
[address book]

it is probably documented somewhere in this forum, but just wanted to spread some knowledge. =P

Don't feel bad...I had my first BB for almost a year before I noticed that feature!

Oh...I feel good, not bad. I learned something useful, which is a good thing about reading this forum.

I do use the speed dial feature a lot, but those those calls that are in my address book and not assigned a speed dial key, holding down the green key is helpful.

OT: Now if only they'd join the 21st century here in the Bahamas and get cellular data service!

I never knew that happened when you held down the green call button! I guess you learn something new every day! Long live the forums!

Darn:

I have had my BB for almost a year and I constantly use the phonebook application. I had no idea that holding the green key accessed the phonebook. What a great find. thanks guys

Did not know either thanks for that. Also the red phone key brings you back to the main app screen!

I wonder anymore tidbits since 4.1 we should know about. I do press some number buttons while in certain apps and things happen but its purely coincidence. ANyone up to speed?

Thanks for sharing!

I discovered this a few days back, before that I found it very annoying to navigate to the address book every time to make a call.

Is there a look up feature which will match the number you're dialing to a record in the address book? That way as I dial a number I should start seeing records which match.
