Default Adding Applications

Please Login to Remove!

i'm trying to add a web browser or an instant messaging application, but eveytime i try to add it, it says "no additional applications designed for your device were found." I'm pretty sure i'm using applications that are compatable. i have a 7100g with cingular, blackberry 4.1 system software, and i'm trying to add Yak-on and minuet browser. what could i be doing wrong? THANKs in advance.

Welcome to BB Forums.
The "no additional applications" message means that you have to download and install the Handheld OS component for your 7100. This is in addition to the Desktop Manager.

There is a Sticky Thread at the top of the General BlackBerry Discussion forum which tells you where you can download the Handheld OS from.

Good luck!
