I have a 8703e and at night I would like to leave the phone on for important calls but would like the emails to stop between 11pm - 6am, can this be done?

Is there a way to turn the email-receiving portion of the phone off but leave the phone call/sms messaging portion on? There are times when I'm right by my computer where I don't need the phone picking up emails, but I would like to have the phone to make and receive phone calls and sms messages.

why not use the 'phone only' option in the profiles; the messages will still come thru you just wont be aggravated by the notices...

You can change the default filters to not forward but it's cumbersome. I recommend the phone-only profile approach.

if the BB is next to your computer -plug it in to the USB port it will stop forwarding e-mails while plugged in plus also charge the BB
