I know that they offer the same features etc. I'm wondering which in your opinion looks better? I personally like the 8700C greyish/lighter blue look but I wouldn't mind the 8700G dark blue.

the 8700G on ebay sells for more money on ebay than the 8700c this is true in both the locked and unlocked model

I'm using 8700c right now on T-Mobile. I have sand-papered mine so it's black. I prefer C over G since I think it's thinner.

Based on the Blackberry site, they are both the same including size. the only real difference is the visual layout.

I have the G on cingular. I bought it off ebay because i liked the darker blue.

I like the 8700g color and Tmobile Service.

Neither -- I prefer the black 8700 shell that I recently got (not to be confused with the dark blue 8700r shell).

I started with an 8700c and recently started using an 8700g (both cases I have used TMO service). I liked 8700c color because it gives more contrast for the keys and I can't type very well without looking. And one particularly annoying feature of the 8700g is that the three grey phone keys light up (glaringly when using in the dark) and the light red and green paint on the phone keys do not show through. The 8700c on the other hand has black phone keys and the painted area is all that shines through - I like that. However, the 8700c being grey with black underneath will really show its scratches. My 8700c looks like it has been to war! I assume the 8700g will not show the scarring so much since it is dark paint on dark plastic. Well, these are my two cents worth.
