Default blutooth option in 8700

Hi every body i have a bb 8700. When i try to get the bluethoot option it gives me a message that its beind disable by my sevice administrator.Pls help me out i dont know what i do.THX

Welcome to BB Forums!

Did you just get this BB? Was it pre-owned? It sounds like it has an IT Policy on it disabling Bluetooth.

If you are on a corporate BlackBerry server, this may be done intentionally. If it is a personal BB, and not on a BES, you will have to remove the IT Policy.

Sounds like either you are on BES and your IT people have put a policy on the BB, or you've acquired a used BB with IT policy left over from previous owner. If the former, talk to you IT people; if the later, you will have to over-write the IT policy.

Actually i get it from my friend and i dont know how he was using this but i am using it for my personal purpose and using my own service provider.How can i overwrite it?
