We've had a few users ask how to dial letters when they call into a number that uses an automated attendant and they have to users numbers to dial the letters of a persons name. Other than memorizing a standard phone, what is the best way to do this?

not sure how it works on the 71xx. but on my 7520, I hold the alt key while spelling out whatever it is you need to spell out.

That works on the 71xx too.
