Default Sprint 8800

I've heard from my Sprint Rep. that the 8800 line are due out the second or third week of March. Has anyone heard this? This came out after a conversion over the purchase of around 38 new handhelds and new service contracts. I pretty much told him that we need the expansion that the SD-cards would give us and we were seriously thinking of Cingular. We have corporate contracts with Cingular, T-mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. However the area of the new account seems to have better Sprint coverage. We also maintain and run our own BES servers. He took some time to get back with me on the status, so he talked to someone….but do you think its to early for Sprint to offer the 8800s?

I kind of think this....However He knows we do alot of in house applications, tailored to blackberries. I told him I need the TrackWheel and SD-slot for a new application we want to roll out. Anyways I guess I can wait a few weeks. I got two Cingular demos on the way just incase. We'll see

As I'm sure you're aware, the 8800 does not have the trackwheel, but a trackball, like the Pearl.

I hope your rep has some insight that's not well known, because I would love to have the 8800 on Sprint!

Yes...I meant TrackBall. My mind was lost in BB Heaven. I have a 8700c...I need a reason to upgrade.
