I just singed up with voice mail today on 8700r. When I push the 1/w key it tries to connect but doesn't ring. Then it goes to the call log screen. When I check the call history of my attempt to access voice mail it says the call was aborted. If I manually try to call my cell number to get my mail box the same thing happens. I have re-entered the speed dial number under 1/w but that doesn't work. I have put the number in my addresses book too - doesn't work. I have taken out battery as suggested on this board but still nothing. There was a funny symbol on my screen earlier too. In the upper left corner like two balls with an umbrella on top. (don't laugh it's true)

Try calling your phone from a land line and leave yourself a message. Then try again.
